Ok so ive been away for well about 3 weeks now and i thought id let you know what i have been up to. I would show you all some lovely photos of them but my camera decided to freeze on me which isnt helpful when there is no where you can get it fixed.

29th July - 8th August
I had a great time traveling and camping in Belgium at Flamboree 2009. It was a scout and guide camp of 1300 aprox. people from all around the world. I was camping with:

It was quite a challanging camp as quite a few things went wrong throughout the week which kept adding up, eventually ending up at our leader exploding at one of the camp staff as it had been awful. I will only tell you a few things that went wrong.

We turned up and were told they had no tents for us when we were told they would have them, we almost didnt have any food that night, they didnt have any gas to replace the empty bottle when it ran out, our field flooded so much we had to get a digger in to dig a trench to drain the water, we had no cooking equipment ECT. As you can imagaine we got a little ratty through out the week with all this happening but to be honest the camp was still brilliant fun.

There was absoloutly loads to do. There are two things that stick in my mind the most, The Mass Game and Waterworld. Both these days were amazing fun. The Mass game involved everyone that was there, we were split into 4 team (The subcamps we were staying on....Leo, Scorpio, Tarus and Aries). We competed against each other in a serise of game such as; 4/3/2 way Tug of wars, Obstacal Course, Boat Racing (Not what it sounds), Pop the Balloon, Ball Throw ect. Was amazing fun taking part in it (Even if i did get flattened at one point...hurting my wrist). Waterworld was a day off site at a lake, we were given 4 activitys to do (1 of which was canclled so we went for a swim somewhere else). I took part in Canoeing, Rafting and Slide Fun. It was a great laughing getting really muddy, soaked and even getting stuck in the middle of the lake in a Canoe. 9th August - TODAY (14th August)
Having about 12 hours turn around i headed down to Dorset with Ben to meet my best friend Kim. We spent our time Swimming, Kayaking, Fishing, Playing Card, Watching Movies, Walking (Up Cliffs), Listening to Music, Playing with the Rocket thing, Shopping, Arcade and just genrally messing about, having fun. Had an amazing time, nothing beats having a holiday with your mates (Even if you get sunburnt and cut you hand open Lol). I gained a personalised hoodie out of the trip which i love. I cant thank her enough for making it such an amazing time!!!!! Thankies Kim!!!!! XD
